Grading Information

1. Second semester will be reported as ONE grade that makes up 3rd and 4th nine weeks.

2. Third Quarter grades that have been posted will serve as an interim point for all students.

3. We may accept make-up work from students from 3rd quarter in an effort to IMPROVE a student’s grade.

4. Teacher will be grading remote learning and placed in the grade book. We will work with families/students through consistent feedback to ensure students are understanding and completing graded assignments.

5. During distance learning, graded assignments should be used to show engagement and should NOT hurt a student’s overall average. No student should end 4th quarter with a average lower than what they had earned at the end of third nine weeks grading. The average can improve from completing required work, but not decrease.

6. Students in CREDIT BEARING courses (8th-12th) still need to complete the requirements of the course through Virtual Distance Learning and packets when internet is not available within the home.
