ABOUT US

WEMS is home to almost 500 students in grades Pre K-8.  We offer STEM classes, serve as a nationally certified STEM after-school site, and provide many club activities.

MCSD Awards Amanda Sulatan

The Character Education trait for the month of November was Citizenship. Amanda Sulatan, a 7th grader from Wallace Elementary Middle School, was recognized during the December School Board meeting as Marlboro County School District Character Education Students of the Month for displaying this trait daily. WEMS INDUCTS 10 INTO THE NATIONAL JR. BETA CLUB

On Tuesday, October 15, Wallace Elementary Middle School welcomed 10 new members into the National Junior Beta Club. The members inducted were (pictured from left to right) Nathan Smith, Evan Chavis, Eric Chavis, Tessa Chavis, Lee Best, Aaron Chavis, Tashon Boatwright, Lacey Edge, Yeilin Trinidad, and Trinity Shaw.

MCSD Recognizes Ashlyn English

On Monday, October 7, 2019, Ashlyn English was recognized at the MCSD School Board meeting as the September Character Education District Student of the Month. The 7th grader was recognized by her teachers for demonstrating the word Respect. She was chosen among all middle and high school students in MCSD. Congratulations, Ashlyn!
